Latika Sridhar is a painter based in Brooklyn, NY.

Working primarily in oil paint, Latika uses vibrant color and expressive mark making to create high-contrast expressionist pieces. Her work often combines representational imagery with surreal or abstract elements. 

While Latika paints all kinds of subjects, she is especially fascinated by the many dimensions of the human face. She loves portraiture because it is a deeply contemplative exercise for her; through the process of studying someone’s face, she unlocks new ways of understanding and expressing herself.
